Legacy Siren Photos
This page features photos of INACTIVE legacy sirens on O'ahu. These sirens were part of the state civil defense system before they were retired. Some legacy sirens still stand, abandoned in place. Others have been completely removed and replaced. A map of the old mechanical legacy system is located at the bottom of this page. Nearly all of these sirens have been replaced in the past 20 years.
